Colby Rasmus pinch hits a homer in Thursday win

Entering late during the 5-4 series sweeping victory over the Boston Red Sox, Colby Rasmus went 1-for-2 with his 13th home run of the year. While also flying out in the 9th, Rasmus has seen a nice jump in his average, up now to .236 on the season.
Fantasy Impact:
The outfield platooning that skipper A.J. Hinch has been implementing lately is a bit of a puzzle. Whatever the reason, veterans like Rasmus are doing the right things at just the right time. The career numbers on him indicate that this trend will most assuredly continue. Fantasy holders may want to invest in Rasmus, if you have not already.
