Jon Lester throws seven innings and earns no-decision

Jon Lester came through with another solid outing, but it was not enough for the Cubs as they lost the lead in the ninth inning and lost after 10 innings. Lester threw seven innings with six strikeouts, seven hits, no walks, and two earned runs.
Fantasy Impact:
Lester has now pitched at least seven innings in his last five starts and recorded at least six strikeouts in all five of those starts. Over this period he has an ERA of 1.53 with a WHIP of 0.77. His overall numbers for the season still look mediocre, but he has certainly been ace material in the month of July.
