Yovani Gallardo struggles in possible final Ranger start

With trade rumors swirling, Rangers pitcher Yovani Gallardo struggled in his start against the Los Angeles Angels today. Gallardo surrendered eight hits and five earned runs in just four innings of work against the first-place Halos. He struck out three and walked three on the day.

Gallardo, a native of Texas, has made it clear he wants to stay with the Rangers. Texas began the series trailing the Angels by 8.5 games. A successful series for Texas might make them think twice about trading the talented Gallardo.
