Josh Rutledge not going to minors after trade

Red Sox GM Ben Cherington said following Josh Rutledge's acquisition Monday that he expects the infielder to join the big-league team, Scott Lauber of the Boston Herald reports. (Scott Lauber on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
With Dustin Pedroia on the DL and Brock Holt day to day with a knee injury, the Red Sox need depth in the infield which Josh Rutledge can provide. Rutledge has struggled at the major league level and probably will not get enough playing time to be a fantasy consideration.
