Jason Motte fails to close down the ninth inning for second time this week

Jason Motte had himself another rough night, failing to record an out in the ninth inning with a three run lead. He finished with three earned runs but Rafael Soriano had to come in and finish the inning.
Fantasy Impact:
Motte seemed to have the closer role locked down as recently as earlier in the week, but now with the arrival of Rafael Soriano and the possibility of a Jonathan Papelbon trade, things are not looking good for the bearded right hander. He is now sporting a 3.49 ERA and a 1.22 WHIP.
