Kyle Freeland allows two runs in no-decision
by Chris Schommer | Rockies Correspondent | Fri, May 26th 8:08am EDT
Kyle Freeland gave up seven hits and two walks over five innings, striking out four, as the Rockies beat the Marlins 7-6 on Thursday.
Fantasy Impact:
His 3.86 ERA and 1.29 WHIP this season are both improvements from last year, but his 6.5 K/9 is down from his career average of 7.6. Despite the mediocre outing, Freeland has been a reliable starter for the Rockies this season, with a 3.00 strikeout-to-walk ratio and four wins through 11 starts.
