Rangers set to acquire Cole Hamels

According to a source, the Rangers and Phillies have a deal in place that will send Cole Hamels to Texas. Official details have not yet been released, but the deal is expected to be completed by Thursday. (TR Sullivan on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Regardless when this deal finalizes, Hamels will go from the offensively challenged Phillies, to the Rangers who rank tenth in baseball in runs scored. Even though the Rangers are a sub-.500 team, this move could be one that helps them contend for a Wild Card spot. Expect Hamels to earn a few more wins should this trade happen.
