Michael Morse, who has been playing some outfield and first base for the Marlins, was acquired by the Dodgers on Wednesday night in a huge three-team deal with the Atlanta Braves. (MLB Trade Rumors)
Fantasy Impact:
This move is likely detrimental to Michael Morse's fantasy value, as Adrian Gonzalez is a clearly superior first baseman (to most of MLB, not just Morse) and the Dodgers outfield is already crowded with Yasiel Puig, Carl Crawford, Joc Pederson and Scott Van Slyke. It is assumed that Morse will likely be a power bat off of the bench.
