Mike Fiers traded to the Houston Astros

Mike Fiers, along with Carlos Gomez, was traded to the Houston Astros on Thursday evening for four minor league prospects.
Fantasy Impact:
Fiers gives the Astros a cost controlled pitcher for the next three seasons, and a reliable arm at the back of their rotation. Since the All-Star break, Fiers has a 22/4 K/BB rate. Home runs will still be a problem, but he could see some success as he faces a number of teams for the first time. He's not an elite add in AL-only leagues, but he's definitely worth consideration and could be a cheaper option for those who missed out on Cole Hamels and Johnny Cueto.
