Madison Bumgarner gives up six runs

Madison Bumgarner allowed six runs on nine hits in seven innings against the Rangers on Friday. He had no walks and eight strikeouts in the outing.
Fantasy Impact:
While fantasy owners can take some solace in Bummy getting in the strikeouts even on a bad day, there should be a little concern with a small case of gopheritis. Bumgarner gave up a pair of two-run homers, one in the first and one in the second, before settling down for five scoreless innings. Bumgarner is undoubtedly still an ace, but his struggles in July (4.85 ERA, two six-run outings, only one QS) are worrying.
