Mike Montgomery earns a quality start in Mariners late inning loss

Mike Montgomery pitched six solid innings allowing one run on four hits while striking out six batters against the Twins. The Mariners bullpen collapsed again in the ninth as the Twins walked-off for a 3-2 victory.
Fantasy Impact:
Montgomery has been solid in his 12 starts this season, owning a 4-4 record with a 3.07 ERA in 76.1 IP. With J.A. Happ shipped to Pittsburgh at the deadline, the 26-year-old will be sticking in the Mariners rotations for the rest of the year barring injury. He is a solid play in deeper mixed or AL-only leagues.
