Adrian Beltre hits for the cycle in Rangers win

by Mitch Cox | Tue, Aug 4th 1:54am EDT

It's not often a 36-year old can hit for the cycle, especially one not exactly known for his speed. But that's exactly what the Rangers' red-hot third baseman did tonight against Houston. Beltre finished the night 4-for-5 with three RBI and two runs scored.

Fantasy Impact:

Beltre has raised his average to .270 by hitting .429 over his last seven games and .328 over his last 15 contests. Despite the hot streak, the home run was only his ninth on the season and the three RBI brought his season total to a lowly 30 on the year. His outstanding career is winding down, and with Joey Gallo waiting in the wings, we could be seeing the last of Beltre in a Rangers uniform.
