Atlanta Braves 1B Freddie Freeman left Monday's game due to injury. The team later reported Freeman is considered day-to-day while dealing with an oblique injury. (Braves on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Day-to-day is probably optimistic, as we've seen oblique injuries run for weeks. This means Freeman could return to the DL, and considering the Braves are not in contention they have little reason to risk further injury for their star player. Not good news for fantasy owners.
