New York Mets SP Steven Matz resumed throwing for the first time since landing on the disabled list. Still, considering he'll need at least two rehab starts prior to his return, the Mets are not expected to get Matz back until at least September. (ESPN)
Fantasy Impact:
The Mets are in the thick of a playoff race, so they could be a bit aggressive with the youngster. But it's more likely that they give him the time he needs to fully recover. He's a player worth monitoring, as he was impressive over his first two starts.
