Carlos Gomez gets first homer as an Astro in Tuesday loss

Taking to center field during Tuesday evening's 4-3 series clinching loss to the Texas Rangers, Carlos Gomez went 2-for-4 for a second straight game. He tallied 2 of the 3 runs scored by the team in the form of a RBI double and his first home run as a Houston Astro. While also popping out and striking out in the game, Gomez has bumped his average up a little further to .269 on the season.
Fantasy Impact:
As stated before, the change of scenery for Gomez is certainly working wonders for him and the team. In spite of that slow start in the first game Friday, the veteran outfielder has been solidifying himself as a legitimate offensive threat in this lineup. Fantasy holders may want to consider investing in Gomez for the near future.
