Dan Haren only lasted five innings against the Pirates in his Cubs debut. He gave up three earned runs (a total of four runs scored due to an error) on seven hits (two home runs) and two walks. He only struck out a total of three batters and finished with a no-decision.
Fantasy Impact:
Dan Haren should not be on anybody's fantasy radar, except for those in very deep leagues. He enjoys pitching to contact (specifically fly balls) and he has not struck out more than seven batters in a game all season, so there is no reason to use him in daily games.
