Carlos Gomez left stranded in Friday loss

Taking again to center field during Friday evening's 3-1 loss to the Oakland Athletics, Carlos Gomez went 0-for-4 in the game. He tallied a pair of fly outs, a ground out, and a pop out collectively. Gomez saw his average take a slight dip, down now to a still impressive .262 on the season.
Fantasy Impact:
The veteran outfielder, along with others in the lineup, felt the sting of Sonny Gray pitching. It's a wonder how a hitter like Gomez was not able to figure him out as the game went on. Then again, no one in the lineup, sans Luis Valbuena with his homer, did. Fantasy holders will still want to keep a close eye on Gomez going forward.
