Carlos Gomez goes hitless again in Sunday walk off win

Staying at center field during Sunday afternoon’s 7-6 series clinching walk off victory over the Detroit Tigers, Carlos Gomez had another bad day at the plate. He went 0-for-4 with a pair of pop outs, a ground out, and a fly out collectively. Gomez took another dip in his average, down now to .249 on the season.
Fantasy Impact:
The mystery still remains why this veteran outfielder that was recently acquired is now, all of a sudden, not being able to generate the offense he is capable of. It is a struggle being felt mostly by him, but to a certain extent, the team as well. There is a big need for Gomez to get back on all cylinders, and fantasy holders will need to bench him until that happens.
