Jason Kipnis activated, Chris Johnson sent to DL

2B Jason Kipnis has been activated but is not in the Indians starting nine to face the Red Sox on Tuesday. Chris Johnson has been placed on the 15-day DL with a continuation of the hand-infection caused, apparently, by a spider's bite.
Fantasy Impact:
Fantasy owners will be hoping that Jason Kipnis will be able to continue with the stellar form he showed before the DL-stint. The second baseman had a .326/.401/.488 slash line in the 85 games since moving to the leadoff spot.
