Manning right field during Thursday evening's 1-0 shutout loss to the Tampa Bay Rays, Colby Rasmus went 1-for-3 with a single in the 5th inning. He also tallied a ground out and a fly out collectively in the game. Rasmus has held his average steady at .233 on the season.
Fantasy Impact:
Having faced Chris Archer a few times as a divisional rival when he was a Blue Jay, it is no surprise that Rasmus was the only one in the lineup that had the Rays ace figured out. The career numbers of the veteran outfielder indicate that he will hold his offensive form for a while. Fantasy holders that do not Rasmus on their roster will still want to keep an eye on him.
