Keeping at center field during Friday evening's 3-0 no-hitter shutout victory over the Los Angeles Dodgers, Carlos Gomez went 1-for-4 with an early 1st inning single. He also tallied a ground out and a pair of strikeouts collectively in the game. Gomez has kept his average solid and steady at .248 on the season.
Fantasy Impact:
This was another game that saw Gomez and his offense deteriorate as the game wore on. It is a wonder why the veteran outfielder is not producing at the plate what he is capable of. Getting him as an acquisition is now starting to produce a few more question marks than explanation points. No disrespect meant, but fantasy holders should not get too excited for Gomez for the remainder of 2015.
