Carlos Santana crushes two-run homer in series finale vs. Yankees

by Gavin Tramps | Twins Correspondent | Mon, Aug 24th 12:10pm EDT

1B Carlos Santana went 1-for-4 with a walk and a two-run home run on Sunday in the Indians’ win over the Yankees.

Fantasy Impact:

That was Carlos Santana’s 15th home run of the season but the first he has hit off a left-handed pitcher. The home run capped off a good week for the 29-year-old, one of only four weeks this season that he has reached at least 25 fantasy points. Santana is ranked as the 9th best third baseman and the 17th best first baseman this year. His value will undoubtedly drop next season when he loses third base eligibility.
