Angel Pagan DL stint extended

San Francisco Giants OF Angel Pagan will need more time to recover from right knee tendinitis and will not return to the Giants when he is eligible to come off the DL on Tuesday. Pagan, who was placed on the DL August 11th, is expected to play rehab games for Triple-A Sacramento on Tuesday and Wednesday before he is reevaluated. (MLB.com)
Fantasy Impact:
Angel Pagan hasn't been a fantasy threat all year and this injury certainly doesn't help his case. The Giants acquired veteran Marlon Byrd last week and Gregor Blanco has done well filling in for Pagan, so don't expect to see him rushed back to the lineup.
