Miguel Montero goes long for third consecutive game

by Nathaniel Schwartz | Wed, Aug 26th 3:32pm EDT

Miguel Montero has now hit one home run in each of his last three games with a 1-for-4 effort against San Francisco. He finished with two RBI and one run scored himself.

Fantasy Impact:

Montero's playing time seems to be safe for those who own him in league play. David Ross will continue to start when Jon Lester steps on the mound, but Montero will continue to catch the other starters while Kyle Schwarber sticks in left field. Montero has hit very well since returning from injury earlier in the month with a .286 batting average and a 1.054 OPS.
