Keeping at center field during Friday evening's 3-0 shutout loss to the Minnesota Twins, Carlos Gomez went 1-for-4 with a single. He also tallied a ground out and a pair of strikeouts collectively in the game. Gomez has kept his average steady at .246 on the season.
Fantasy Impact:
Gomez certainly did his part in this past game by getting one of the only six hits made by the team. However, it is still not up to the full potential of the veteran outfielder that was much more on display in the previous series versus the Yankees. Fantasy holders may just want to skip over Gomez for the remainder of the season.
