Colby Rasmus whiffs twice in Friday loss

by James Ignatius Zeankowski | Sat, Aug 29th 11:00am EDT

Manning right field during Friday evening's 3-0 shutout loss to the Minnesota Twins, Colby Rasmus could not get a hit. He went 0-for-4 with a fly out, pop out and a pair of strikeouts collectively in the game. Rasmus dipped his average back down to .227 on the season.

Fantasy Impact:

It has become all too clear since the injury to Springer that Rasmus does not appear to look at all comfortable in the right field corner. Additionally, it seems to be affecting his plate approach some. The veteran outfielder can get himself easily out of any jam. When that will actually happen remains to be seen. Fantasy holders can keep an eye on Rasmus, but don't go all in on him.
