Complete game shutout for Derek Holland

Derek Holland tossed a complete game three-hit shutout in just his fifth start since returning from a shoulder injury he suffered in April. Holland was superb, striking out 11 and not walking a batter in leading the Rangers to their fourth win in a row, and 13th win in their last 17 games.
Fantasy Impact:
While the acquisition of Cole Hamels was important, the Rangers post-season hopes really centered around the return of Holland. The feeling was that if he could come out and do what he did at the end of last year when he was also coming off an injury, the Rangers chances looked good. A rotation of Hamels, Holland, Gallardo, Lewis and Perez is formidable. Next year, add in Yu Darvish and it's downright nasty!
