Martin went 2-for-3 with a home run, two RBI, three runs scored, and a walk in Toronto's 9-2 win over Detroit.
Fantasy Impact:
Over the last 14 days, Martin has been in a prolonged slump and was batting just .125 over that stretch with one home run and three RBI. His two hit performance today marked the first time he has had two or more hits in a game since July 28th. Despite his two hit performance on Sunday, Martin has clearly been struggling at the plate and is not a recommended fantasy option at this time.
