Chris Carter went 1-for-3 with a strikeout and a three-run home run against the Twins on Sunday.
Fantasy Impact:
This was Carter's first home run in August, with his last coming on July 28th. Carter's playing time has taken a massive cut as of the last two months, going from playing every day and around 90 AB/month, to only 46 AB in July, and 39 in August. Carter's season has been an extreme disappointment, as he's batting a mere .183 with 18 homers after last year's promising campaign (.227/37 HRs). He's only viable in the deepest of AL-Only leagues, and should be avoided even then.
