Jacoby Ellsbury has a good ending to August

Jacoby Ellsbury had extra-base hits in consecutive games over the weekend against Atlanta, finishing with a 6-for-22 stretch in the last week of August. Ellsbury finished the month with a .252 batting average and scored 15 runs. (ESPN)

Ellsbury has struggled with a .717 OPS this season and has a .656 OPS since the All-Star break. Ellsbury had a .318 batting average before the All-Star break, including 14 stolen bases, but an injury spell from May to July derailed his season. Ellsbury has only stolen three bases since returning on July 8 and has seen his average drop to .275 for the season.
