Bartolo Colon up and down in August but has best month of the season

After posting three straight months with an ERA above 5.20, Colon saw his ERA drop to 2.83 in August. His .256 batting average against in August is considerably lower than the .281 batting average against that the league has against Colon in 2015 and he posted his third winning month of the season. Fantasy Impact:
Colon has allowed 21 walks in 161 innings this season and if he can continue to limit hits, he could be primed for an even better September. With the Mets in a playoff race, trying to make the playoffs for the first time since 2006, Colon will be asked to be the veteran force in the rotation and should provide wins as well.
