Logan Forsythe leaves game Tuesday night

by Mike Werner | Wed, Sep 2nd 12:10am EDT

Coming off a game where he missed a cycle by a home run on Monday, Logan Forsythe had his bat working again tonight, going 3-for-3 with two runs scored before leaving the contest with what the Rays are calling "left groin tightness." (Marc Topkin on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Despite coming out of the game, the Rays maintain that Forsythe's injury is more precautionary than anything. We should have further details tomorrow, and be sure to check and see if he's in the lineup card for tomorrow's contest. The dynamic Forsythe has been the Rays MVP for 2015, hitting a robust .281/.357/.442 with 15 home runs, 53 RBI, and nine stolen bases.
