Zack Greinke allowed one earned run to pick up win number 15

by Stan Son | Wed, Sep 2nd 1:10am EDT

Zack Greinke was brilliant Tuesday night against the rival San Francisco Giants. He allowed one earned run, five hits, one walk, and struck out five in 7 1/3 innings. 76-of-114 pitches were thrown for strikes.

Fantasy Impact:

Greinke is the #2 overall player on the ESPN Player Rater. If the Dodgers offense gave him more run support during the season, he would have over 20 wins and could be the #1 overall player. Unbelievable season. On the year, 15-3 record, 1.59 ERA, 0.85 WHIP, and 169 strikeouts in 186 2/3 innings. Bill Shaikin tweeted during the game: Dodgers franchise ERA record is held by Hall of Famer Rube Marquard with a 1.58 ERA for the 1916 Brooklyn Robins.
