Evan Gattis draws two walks in Tuesday loss

by James Ignatius Zeankowski | Wed, Sep 2nd 11:01am EDT

Though he did not get a hit in the DH role and cleanup spot during Tuesday evening’s 7-5 loss to the Seattle Mariners, Evan Gattis did get on base by way of two separate walks, one of them brough on intentionally. He did, however, go 0-for-3 with a ground out, pop out and fly out all collectively in the game. Gattis took another slight shrink in his average, down now to .239 on the season.

Fantasy Impact:

There was noticeably a lot of frustration and lack of patience in Gattis in this past outing. If those two things can be worked on, even a little bit, then El Oso Blanco will back to his full offensive form in no time. Luckily, history has shown him to be able to do just that. Fantasy holders should conitnue investing in Evan Gattis going forward.
