Madison Bumgarner out-dueled in loss

Madison Bumgarner was excellent Tuesday night with a stat line that usually would pick up the win, unfortunately he was facing stud pitcher Zach Greinke, The Giants fell to the Dodgers 2-1 and Bumgarner fell to 16-7 on the year. He allowed two runs off eight hits in seven innings while recording eight strikeouts. The loss snapped his five game winning streak. His ERA now sits at 2.96 on the year.
Fantasy Impact:
It's no secret Bumgarner is one of the best in the game. Fans who enjoy great pitching were in for a treat as Bumgarner fell just short of matching Greinke. He is still an obvious lock on your fantasy lineups and is usually worth the price in daily leagues because of his high strikeout potential. Take this loss with a grain of salt as Bumgarner is still pitching brilliantly.
