Fantasy Impact:

Longoria swatted a two-run shot in the third inning off opposing starter Kevin Gausman, and later added a solo-blast in the ninth off of Darren O'Day to give the Rays a much needed insurance run at the time. The Rays would go on to lose to the Orioles, as Chris Davis crushed a walk-off home run in the 11th inning to secure the victory. In reaching 200 home runs, Longoria became the first Ray to accomplish that feat, and also the first third baseman to hit 200 home runs, and 250 doubles in his first eight seasons in the league. Longoria has now hit three homers over the last three days, giving him 17 for the season. He might not have paid off the way fantasy owners may have hoped for coming into 2015, but there's no denying the quality play he's given since coming into the league in 2008.
