Chase Utley has solid night at the plate against San Diego

Chase Utley batted 2-for-4 with a double, a walk, and an RBI in Thursday's loss against the Padres. Utley has batted second in 8 of this 12 games with the Dodgers and has never batted lower than sixth in the order.
Fantasy Impact:
Utley's season batting line is a woeful .218/.289/.348, but he has both the role and the talent to be a major fantasy force down the stretch and could be a very savvy addition in leagues where he remains on the waiver wire. Utley came into Thursday's game carrying a .324/.372/.549 (152 wRC+) batting line in 78 plate appearances since returning from the Disabled List with the Phillies on August 7th.
