Brandon Phillips goes 4-for-4 in loss to Brewers
by Kerry Kauffman | Sun, Sep 6th 10:38am EDT
The Reds fell to the Brewers on Saturday by the score of 8-6. The loss dropped the Reds to 55-78 for the season. Brandon Phillips continues to swing a hot bat, going 4-for-4 with a walk, RBI and run scored. Phillips raised his batting average to .295 for the season.
Fantasy Impact:
Phillips extended his hitting streak to seven games, a streak which ended in the second game of the double-header. Phillips doesn't drive the ball like he once did, but still has a solid batting average and steals bases. While not the best option at second base, Phillips is a solid choice down the stretch.
