Yovani Gallardo's gem leads Rangers to shutout

Yovani Gallardo tossed 5.1 innings of shutout ball, and three relievers combined to preserve the whitewash in the Rangers 3-0 victory over Seattle on Monday. Gallardo allowed five hits while walking two and striking out four to raise his season record to 12-9.
Fantasy Impact:
The Rangers have a history of misfiring on their acquisitions of NL pitchers, but the Gallardo move has been a success story. Gallardo has been rock solid most of the season and has lowered his ERA to 3.16.
