Carlos Gomez draws a walk in Saturday loss

Making another center field start during Saturday evening's 3-2 series loss to the Los Angeles Angels, Carlos Gomez went a hitless 0-for-3. Though he did reach base by way of a drawn walk, he also tallied a fly out and a pair of ground outs in the game. Gomez has kept his average to .253 on the season.
Fantasy Impact:
This outing was a bad day at the office for Gomez. He made some good hits, but did not catch the breaks he needed, much the same as the rest of the lineup. But the veteran outfielder will make better strides as the season winds down. Fantasy holders can do with Gomez what they wish.
