Kenley Jansen allows three-run home run in non-save situation

by Stan Son | Red Sox Correspondent | Sun, Sep 13th 7:41pm EDT

Kenley Jansen entered Sunday's game against the Diamondbacks with a four-run lead. He allowed a three-run home run and walked one, but was able to close out the game for the Dodgers. 23-of-33 pitches were thrown for strikes.

Fantasy Impact:

Jansen has now given up six home runs on the season. That has pretty much been his only blemish on a fine season. Having thrown 33 pitches on Sunday, do not expect Jansen to pitch tomorrow against the Rockies if a save opportunity arises.
