Victor Martinez has been extremely quiet this second half on offense. He is batting .191 since the All-Star Break, and that has plummeted his full season average down to .234. (The Detroit News)
Fantasy Impact:
This has been a very bad year for V-Mart, only one year after signing a new contract and finishing second to Mike Trout in AL MVP voting. At this point of the season, Victor Martinez has very little value. Hopefully, with a full off-season of rest and no off-season injuries, Martinez can return to his MVP runner-up form next season.
