Dustin Pedroia is not in the lineup Monday against the Orioles, Pete Abraham of the Boston Globe reports. Josh Rutledge will take over at the keystone in his place and bat second. (Pete Abraham on Twitter)

Dustin Pedroia has started four of five games since being activated off the disabled list, collecting six hits in that span, but he'll get the day off Monday. Expect Pedroia to continue to get days off until the season ends as the Red Sox have no reason to risk another injury with him.
