Jon Lester takes eleventh loss of the year

Jon Lester followed up his first complete game of the season with a six inning loss against the Cardinals. He surrendered four earned runs off of six hits (two home runs) and three walks. He struck out seven batters on a total of 110 pitches.
Fantasy Impact:
Lester has been very inconsistent this year and he has shown an inability to last late into ballgames despite his recent complete game. Manager Joe Maddon let Lester throw over 100 pitches for the his third consecutive start and he did manage to keep the strikeout numbers respectable, so all is not lost for fantasy owners.
