Jhonny Peralta didn't have a career game at the plate against Jon Lester and the Chicago Cubs, but did manage to hit a single, score a run, and add his 63rd RBI of the season.
Fantasy Impact:
Peralta has seen his average dip all the way down to .269 this season, after a hot start. His career average is .267 so regression for the 33 year old is not shocking. Despite the downward trend in average, Peralta is putting together a fine season with 16 home runs and 63 RBI to boot. Peralta is no longer a No. 1 option at shortstop, like he was earlier in the season, but he is a high-end No. 2 play.
