Jered Weaver only made it through 5.2 innings on Monday, allowing five runs on nine hits and two walks. He struck out five.
Fantasy Impact:
The loss brings Weaver's record to 7-12 and his ERA up to 4.86, the highest it has been since Weaver stumbled through April and May. He is not a good fantasy option right now, and though he doesn't walk many batters, he's striking very few out and giving up far too many hits.
