Hisashi Iwakuma benefits from surprise run support

Hisashi Iwakuma tossed seven innings of shutout ball, limiting the hard-hitting Royals to only three hits and a walk while he struck out ten. Iwakuma picked up his ninth win of the season to only four losses.
Fantasy Impact:
Iwakuma easily could have pitched longer into the night, but the Mariners staff was cautious with him as he left his last start with lower back tightness. He's been excellent his month, allowing more than two runs only once.
