Bullpen blows chance for Madison Bumgarner's 19th win

Madison Bumgarner left Thursday night's game against the San Diego Padres with seven innings pitched and the lead, but earned a no decision after the bullpen lost the lead. He gave up three runs, courtesy of a three-run HR by Padres catcher Derek Norris, on three hits. Bumgarner also struck out nine batters.
Fantasy Impact:
Since the All-Star break, Madison Bumgarner has averaged 10.33 strikeouts per nine innings pitched. Thursday night was another strong effort from Bumgarner even though the bullpen couldn't hold on to the win for him. Bumgarner has two more starts left in the regular season and it would not be a surprise to see him get to 20 wins.
