Fantasy Impact:

The likelihood of Travis being ready for the beginning of the regular season is a question mark. If he were to miss all of Spring Training, he would need to head off on a rehab assignment in order to prepare him for season since he will likely miss ST. Travis was off to a tremendous start to his rookie season, becoming an early candidate for AL Rookie of the Year. However a shoulder injury caused him to miss much of the '15 season. Ryan Goins will man the second base position in his absence, and once Travis is ready to return it will create quite the conundrum for manager John Gibbons. Travis has a lot of fantasy value at second base, so if he were to regain the position, he could provide returns for owners should he return to form.
