Fantasy Impact:

The acquisition gives the Indians some much needed power against left-handed pitching but further complicates their 1B / DH situation. Carlos Santana will likely move to DH with Chris Johnson getting playing time in the outfield. Napoli produced a dominating .954 OPS vs LHP in 2015 but struggled to just .603 OPS vs RHP. This was the fourth straight year that his OPS vs RHP has dropped (.861, .816, .703). The 34-year-old enjoyed six straight 20+ home run seasons, followed by 17, 18, 18 in the last three years. If healthy, Napoli can offer good production for a low draft pick but bear in mind that he was outscored last season by the undrafted Mark Canha and Justin Bour.
